Lis has worked in veterinary medicine for more than two decades. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond and the individuals who dedicate themselves to its care and preservation. This passion led her to pursue a Master of Social Work degree, bringing together her experience in veterinary medicine with her commitment to the wellbeing of veterinary professionals, clients, and communities.

Lis serves as the Director of Organizational Culture and Engagement at the Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York and leads a consulting practice focused on organizational culture, team wellbeing, leadership development, and veterinary social work. She believes that caring for the people who care for animals is essential to preserving and strengthening the human-animal bond.
